Our Spring session is about to wrap up at Stir-n-Up Hope!! We had our new horse Ginger jumping into the fun and she is really enjoying her new role in life as a therapeutic riding companion.  She has been working alongside our instructor Becky with our mentor group from the Spencer County probation court to teach the kids about respect, trust, and how the decisions we make impact us and those around us.  Our four returning Equine Assisted Activity riders have been under the caring and helpful instruction of Mary and Becky. These riders already know the ropes around the barn but each session is an opportunity for new activities and a chance to help them make even more strides in their strength, balance, and emotional regulation inside and outside the barn.

We have had a great time getting to know our new participants, and getting reacquainted with those who are returning! They’ve all made such great progress! We’ll have a quick break, and then we’ll be back for Summer Camp 2024! We’re so excited to welcome our campers!
