Fall Session School Groups

It’s hard to believe that our fall session is over halfway over now! These eight weeks just fly by! This fall, we were honored to host two Spencer County school groups. Several students in these groups are joining us for their second session! This program type is Equine-Assisted Learning.

Below: Students engaged their math skills to play a game of “Equine Clue” their instructor Mary had set up! Students had a lot of fun with this activity and solved the mystery three times using different identifiers and strategies. They also brushed up on some nonverbal communication skills!

We have prayed many prayers about the possibility of bringing in additional schools and we’re thrilled to see God working in this direction. Our school participants have been observed to have improved social skills, attendance, and even academic performance! If you are interested in your school having a program day at Stir-n-Up Hope, please contact your school administrators/social workers!
